The National Institute for Human Rights is the human rights institution for the entire Netherlands, including the Caribbean Netherlands. We are independent and have multiple tasks to protect and improve human rights.

A safe place to live, healthcare when you are sick, being treated the same as any other person. Those are all human rights. Rights that belong to everyone.
We are The National Institute for Human Rights; an independent organization. We protect the human rights of people in the Netherlands, including Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
We conduct research on human rights, advise the government on laws and policies and inform the public. We can also decide if discrimination has taken place in individual cases.
Human rights and equal treatment are part of everyday life. You might wonder if something that happened to you was discrimination or unequal treatment.
In those moments, you can contact us. We explain your rights, assess the situation, and help find a solution.
So, feel free to reach out via Facebook. Or discover more at www.humanrightsincn.nl.
